Let's go to a car show! I know, another one? Well, it's my page, so I'll post the content I want—but I also love sharing events you might want to mark on your calendar.
The Draggin' Main Car and Bike Show was held this year on the Saturday before Father’s Day in downtown Durant, Oklahoma. This was my first time attending this event, and I was thoroughly impressed. The turnout for the 2026 installment, hosted by the Durant Lions Club, the Draggin' Main organizers, and the Durant Sports Festival, was fantastic.
Downtown Durant has so much going on! Beyond the impressive array of trophies for participants, there were plenty of activities for all ages. Local businesses really got behind the event, hosting a Poker Walk where attendees collected hands at various shops for a chance at great prizes. The day also featured a Twist contest, a Kidz Kruize, and a high-energy Burnout Contest.
Although the skies looked a bit gloomy, the rain held off, making the day a total success. There was an incredible variety of vehicles on display, from Ferraris and Volkswagens to one-of-a-kind custom builds. Thanks to everyone involved for making this such a great day in downtown Durant!
