The Sherman Hot Summer Nights Concert Series continues to bring impressive talent to town, making it all the more remarkable that the shows are free and open to the public. Week two featured a band with a deep catalog of hits and a fan base that clearly still knows every word.
After forty-seven years in the business, Great White remains a recognizable name in rock. Their longevity is backed by a strong record of success! More than 10 million albums sold worldwide, six Top 100 Billboard hits, nine Top 200 Billboard albums, and two platinum albums
The band’s newest lead singer, Brett Carlisle, brought youthful energy to the performance, especially on songs such as "House of Broken Love," "Mista Bone," and the signature hit "Once Bitten, Twice Shy."
Several hundred fans danced and sang along throughout the set, turning the evening into a nostalgic celebration of the songs that helped make Great White a staple of classic rock.
