The 2026 Hot Summer Nights concert series truly offered something for everyone, reflecting the vibrant diversity of our North Texas community. The season concluded on a high note with a performance by the legendary Mexican group, Grupo Bryndis. Known for their signature Grupera style—a romantic fusion of ranchera melodies and Latin rhythms—the band captivated the crowd. It was clear that their music, which earned them a Latin Grammy for the 2007 album Solo Pienso en Ti, continues to resonate deeply; the audience swayed and sang along just as passionately as fans have since the group’s inception in 1985.
Opening the evening was Grupo Morros, a talented trio of brothers from Dallas—Luis, Rey, and Daniel. Since 2007, they have been a staple of the Texas music scene, bringing a fresh, energetic twist to traditional Hispanic sounds. A sincere thank you to the city of Sherman for allowing Red River Current Media to document the 32nd year of this incredible tradition. We are already looking forward to what next summer brings!
